From the earliest days of Christianity, women have played an important part in the life of Christ’s Church. That tradition continues at Kosmosdale Baptist Church as we want the women of our church to cultivate biblical womanhood and to have abundant opportunity to use their gifts for the Lord’s service. Already, our ladies are heavily involved in the day-to-day ministry of our church. We have numerous opportunities for women to serve the Lord in the nursery, in Sunday School classrooms, in the Children’s Church program, in the F.I.T. Youth Ministry, and through music ministry. It is our desire to promote spiritual development and to provide support for all the ladies of our church. As a result, we have a number of opportunities for women to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Women’s Bible Study
We believe that it is important to have in place ministry programs focused specifically on women’s discipleship. Titus 2:3-5 teaches that women are to encourage one another in godliness. Therefore, we have set aside specific times for our women to get together for mutual encouragement and biblical instruction. One way our ladies can fulfill this goal is by attending our weekly Women’s Bible Study Group. The Women’s Bible Study Group meets at designated times throughout the year and normally discusses a book on Christian living or doctrine.

Women’s Fellowship Dinners:
At various times throughout the year, the ladies of Kosmosdale will meet at a local restaurant for dinner. Normally, these dinners are held on midweek evenings, and the venue changes each time. These fellowship meals are a great way for the women of the church and visitors from the community to get to know one another in an informal setting.
