Children’s Ministry

Children 2The Scriptures clearly teach that Christians are responsible to raise their children “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4). At Kosmosdale Baptist Church, we desire to assist parents with this awesome responsibility by providing a number of opportunities for children to receive instruction in the central truths of God’s Word. Through our children’s ministry we desire to proclaim God’s wonderful plan of redemption in such a way that our children might come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior and to live for Him for the rest of their lives.

In addition to our age-appropriate Sunday School classes, we currently provide two opportunities for our children grow in their knowledge of God. See the Foundations In Truth page for Wednesday night activities.

Children’s Church:

Each week children ages 3-6 are encouraged to participate in our children’s church program. Children’s church takes place during the preaching portion of our Sunday morning service and is led by volunteers from our church. The main goal for children’s church is to take the children on a three year journey through the Bible, highlighting key stories in God’s redemptive plan and showing how these stories relate to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are currently using the Gospel Project Curriculum as the basis for instruction.

Vacation Bible School:

Each summer our church hosts a week-long VBS program for children, which includes exciting games, crafts, food, and most importantly, biblical instruction. VBS is a great opportunity for children of all ages to be exposed to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
