For our Christmas Eve (eve eve) service, I wanted to think about how the story of Christmas, about a promised son, is really a story told over and over again, starting in a garden with a broken family at the lowest point of human existence.
The "promised son" narrative is seen all throughout the Scriptures and realized with great enthusiasm in the New Testament. Here's a short (and not exhaustive) list of this promise and promised sons that point us and teach us about the promised son of Christmas - Jesus.
