Kosmosdale is blessed with many gifted teachers and aspiring leaders in its community. These lay-teachers devote their time and energy every week to provide a variety of classes meant to provide a context for in-depth discussion over theological topics. Classes are typically oriented around specific scriptural texts or around books designed to enrich a believer. Occasionally, classes are led by volunteers. The adult classes meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 before the main service. Other classes are offered for both kids (K-5th) and youth (6-12).
The Legacy class is designed to help mature believers grow in the Christian faith by addressing a variety of discipleship topics. Generally, the class works its way through a Christian book such as Thomas Wells’ From the Pastor’s Desk or A. W. Tozer’s The Knowledge of the Holy.
Here young adults are given opportunity to study the truth of the Bible in an informal, round-table setting. This class typically works its way verse-by-verse through various books of the Bible on a volunteer rotation but will occasionally read through books on important matters of Christian doctrine or living.
